Arizona State football will play one of its busiest and most travel-intensive seasons in history after the Big 12 released the 2026 season following the release of the Sun Devil Athletics.

Defining Year Under Kenny Dillingham

Head coach Kenny Dillingham is entering his fourth season with the Sun Devils. He will get the opportunity to develop a team that has faced both the best and the worst in terms of competition and travel.

Morgan State, Baylor, Hawai'i, Kansas State, Colorado, and Oklahoma State will come to the Mountain America Stadium. Arizona State will also face a demanding road schedule, with trips to Texas A&M, Texas Tech, BYU, UCF, and rival Arizona.

It is important to note that one of the most prominent events of the season is very early, as the ASU goes abroad to play Kansas at the Union Jack Classic at Wembley Stadium on September 19. The contest will be the Big 12 debut of both programs and will be one of the few international conference matches.

First Trials and Geneva Preludes

The campaign opens with a non-conference home game against Morgan State on Sept. 5. Arizona State will travel to Kyle Field a week later to play the 2025 College Football Playoff contender Texas A&M. The Sun Devils have a bye week after the trip to London and come back home to begin Big 12 competition in Tempe against Baylor on October 3, then a non-conference match with Hawai.

The competition on the road increases with a road bout against the two-time defending Big 12 title winner, Texas Tech, on October 17th, a home game against Kansas State on October 24th, and a road game on Halloween against BYU.

November features home and road games, including home contests against Colorado and Oklahoma State, a road trip to UCF, and the final game of the season against Arizona in the annual Territorial Cup on Nov. 28.
