It's a different world in college athletics these days. The advent of the transfer portal and NIL has changed the way programs grow, especially in football. Kenny Dillingham has been rather candid about the need for local businesses to step up and support Arizona State in that regard.
At least one business got the memo, and then some:
Over the past few weeks @DircksMoving has helped relocate 15 new @ASUFootball players to Tempe.

Matt Dircks, the president and CEO of Dircks Moving and Logistics, recently shared that his company has helped relocate 15 new student athletes to Tempe in conjunction with Arizona State securing transfer portal commitments. He specifically highlighted transfer quarterback Cutter Boley as one such individual.
"Supporting Sun Devils goes beyond the field. NIL creates opportunities for local businesses to make an impact. More companies need to think outside the box and get involved! #ForksUp"
Dircks' call to action for other local businesses is especially prescient in light of recent news that the NCAA will allow businesses to get sponsorship patches on college programs' jerseys. Dillingham has shared in the past that Arizona State lags behind the competition in terms of NIL resources, and athletics director Graham Rossini has seemingly indicated that corporate partnerships are the most direct solution.
It has been reported that Dillingham's most recent contract extension was done in conjunction with an increased commitment to NIL from the university, though current rules around the practice forbid any specific numbers from being contractually agreed to. Still, it seems as if Arizona State is making headway in that area.
Yet, in a conference that features the likes of Texas Tech and BYU - two of the biggest spenders in football and basketball across the nation - there will always be work to do for the Sun Devils. That's why the actions of companies like Dircks are so crucial, especially if they inspire others to follow suit.
