Arizona State football will also get back several key players in 2026. A mix of returning players and others poised for expanded responsibilities will shape the roster, with several contributors expected to take on larger roles after limited involvement last season. Their coming back brings experience and richness in the various position groups.

C.J. Fite (Defensive Tackle)

Fite decided to come back to play his senior year instead of joining the NFL Draft and cement the defensive line. He is expected to lead and have a presence in the unit in 2026.

Zyrus Fiaseu (Linebacker)

In 2025, Fiaseu lost much time to injury but was granted another year of eligibility. His reentry solidifies the linebacker group, in which he is expected to compete for a starting position along with the transfer, Owen Long.

Tony-Louis Nkuba (Cornerback)

In the late 2025 season, Nkuba got more snaps, with notable action in the Sun Bowl. His high-end results place him in a bigger role in the second one to come.

Adrian “Boogie” Wilson (Safety)

Wilson entered the starting role at the beginning of 2025 after an injury to Xavion Alford and played regularly. He goes into 2026 a good bet to be a full-time starting player.

Jalen Moss and Jaren Hamilton

Moss and Hamilton should experience increased opportunities with the absence of Jordyn Tyson's program. None of them impressed as much as Moss did in the Sun Bowl (a 129-yard performance) as evidence of his readiness to take part in a featured role.

Although not all current injured players will come back in 2025 (some will either be transferred or the NFL will make decisions), this group will offer Arizona State a great source of continuity and momentum going into the 2026 season.
