What will Randy Bennett's first roster look like?

The transfer portal is officially open, and Randy Bennett is hard at work trying to put together his first roster with the Sun Devils. Arizona State is still figuring out which of their own players are entering the portal, but they're fielding offers to other available players as well.

Keep this page pinned for up-to-date transfer portal developments as Bennett and his staff build out their squad.

Targets

CG Trevan Leonhardt

A two-year starter at Utah Valley, Trevan Leonhardt led his team in assists both years while hitting on 37.4% of his three's over that span. He grew as a scorer this past year, practically doubling his scoring average, and was named to the first team for both the All-WAC and WAC All-Defense teams.

Leonhardt is set to visit Arizona State on April 15.

CG Jacob Walker

Jacob Walker had a strong freshman year at Sam Houston State, starting 12 games and playing in all 34. He finished averaging 11.5 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game while shooting 35.8% from deep. The Sun Devils are one of 11 Power 4 programs to reach out to Walker thus far.

PF Johan Munch

After two years with the Beavers, including a starting role this past year, Danish big man Johan Munch is in the portal. He averaged 7.9 points and 5.1 rebounds a game at Oregon State and many believe he's only scratching the surface of his potential. Other programs pursuing Munch include Florida, Purdue, UCLA, Tennessee, and Ole Miss.

SG Vyctorius Miller

A walking bucket machine, Vyctorius Miller is back in the portal for the second time in as many years. He starred at Arizona prep school AZ Compass Prep and David Patrick - now on the Arizona State staff - landed him at LSU. After averaging 8.9 points coming off the bench as a freshman, Miller transferred for a starting role at Oklahoma State; there, he averaged 10.8 points a game and shot 37.5% from deep.

PF Andrew Meadow

A two-year starter at Boise State, Andrew Meadow has grown into a very strong stretch four. He's averaged over 12 points and 4 rebounds a game each of the last two years and improved his three point shooting from 35.2% to 38.6% this year.

Meadow is set to visit Arizona State on April 12.

SF Isaiah Manning

Isaiah Manning originally committed to TCU, but transferred after one year in which he mostly sat on the bench. He found a prominent role off the bench at Sam Houston State, averaging 10.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game with a 34.9% three-point shooting clip.

PG Tahlan Pettway

Growing up in Massachusetts, Tahlan Pettway flew under the radar and committed to Western Carolina. This past year as a freshman, he showed consistent improvement and moved into the starting lineup towards the end of the year. He finished with 8.5 points, 2.3 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game and shot 39.4% from deep.

CG Finley Bizjack

One of Butler's best players this past year, Finley Bizjack entered the transfer portal with much fanfare. He averaged 17.1 points per game and was named a third team All-Big East player. The Sun Devils are one of a handful of programs - including Kentucky and Ole Miss, among others - vying for his services in what will be his final year of eligibility.

CG Tylen Riley

One of the biggest transfer portal successes of this past season, Tylen Riley is back on the market. The Nevada native committed to play for Rick Croy at California Baptist, but had trouble cracking the starting lineup. He blossomed this past year at Tulsa, averaging 15 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.9 rebounds a game. Now, he has a shot to reunite with Croy and play under the spotlight of the Big 12.

C Bradey Henige

Another player with ties to Croy, Bradey Henige played for California Baptist this past year. He worked his way into the starting lineup towards the end of the year and was a key defender for the Lancers' run to the NCAA Tournament.

PG Jordan Ross

A former Arizona high school star, Jordan Ross started his college career at St. Mary's before transferring to Georgia this past year. His production dipped in his first year away from Bennett, but he now has a chance to reunite with his coach while still playing for a Power 4 program.

Transfers In

PF Paulius Murauskas

Ranked as the 9th best player in the transfer portal, Paulius Murauskas is returning to the desert. After playing at Arizona as a freshman, Murauskas transferred to St. Mary's where he became a starter for Randy Bennett. The Lithuanian stretch four led the Gaels in scoring this past year and was a hot commodity in the portal.

SF Dillan Shaw

Not long after the Murauskas news did Dillan Shaw announce his own plans to transfer to Arizona State. Shaw was a rare 4-star recruit for Randy Bennett a year ago. Starting 22 games for the Gaels, he averaged 7.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while hitting on 41.6% of his three's. He also finished third on the team in defensive win shares, a valuable metric for Bennett.

PG Joel Foxwell

By now, everyone knows about Randy Bennett's affinity for Australians. He just added another one in Joel Foxwell. The freshman point guard averaged 15.6 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds for Portland, earning him first team all-conference honors.

SF Emmanuel Innocenti

Coming over from Italy, Emmanuel Innocenti initially played for Tarleton State before transferring to Gonzaga two years ago. He blossomed into a starter this season, finishing third in minutes played for a Bulldogs team that won 31 games. Considered a defensive menace, Innocenti was third on the team in defensive win shares. His offensive game is still developing, but he hit his stride towards the end of the year, with four double-digit scoring nights in his final nine appearances.

SF Marcus Vaughns

Marcus Vaughns became the first player to transfer to Arizona State this cycle. He comes from LSU, reuniting with new Sun Devil associate head coach David Patrick. An Australian, Vaughns is hoping to be the next in a long line of successful Aussie players under Randy Bennett.

C Nate Garcia

Another transfer following a coach to Tempe, Nate Garcia was the backup center at California Baptist last year and now follows Rick Croy to Arizona State. Garcia averaged 6 minutes per game across 16 games played as a freshman. He's expected to provide depth off the bench.

Transfers Out

C Massamba Diop

The top priority for Arizona State was finding a way to keep Massamba Diop, the star freshman who averaged 2.1 blocks a game. That didn't happen, as Diop entered the transfer portal on Wednesday with a "Do Not Contact" tag. It's highly likely he will be handsomely compensated by some blue blood next year.

PF Santiago Trouet

After leading the Sun Devils in rebounding in his one year in Tempe, Argentinian forward Santiago Trouet is headed to the portal. Many of the names on Arizona State's early target list play the same position, so it's fair to wonder if this was a mutual decision.

SG Noah Meeusen

Noah Meeusen had an uneven year for the Sun Devils, getting extremely hot from three and then having games with hardly any impact. He worked his way into the starting lineup down the stretch of the season, but Meeusen is now testing the market.

SF Marcus Adams Jr.

A former 4-star recruit and the 11th best player in California in his recruiting class, Marcus Adams Jr. had trouble staying on the court. Injured in the Sun Devils' Big 12 opener this year, he never returned to the hardwood. For the fourth time in as many years, Adams is in the transfer portal.

PF Kash Polk

The final high school recruit of the Bobby Hurley era, Kash Polk was a 3-star stretch big from Texas that offered great upside but would need quite a bit of development. He redshirted this past season, and now looks ready to find a new home.

PG Adante' Holiman

Once the top-rated player in the state of Oklahoma, Adante' Holiman has bounced around. He started at UT-Rio Grande Valley before transferring to UTSA. This past year at Arizona State, he never even suited up, and was unlikely to see much time under the new regime.

C Dame Salane

A late addition to the team last year, Dame Salane joined Arizona State in the summer from the Swiss Basketball League. Like star big man Massamba Diop, Salane hails from Senegal, but he never saw any minutes this year.
