Hi Sun Devil fans! My name is Melina Suarez and I'm so excited to joining Devils in Detail as a contributor. I'm currently a sophomore at Arizona State University, majoring in journalism and mass communication.
I'm originally from Tucson, Arizona so I grew up in a UArizona household and town. But I have since traded my red and blue for maroon and gold and couldn't be prouder to call myself a Sun Devil!
In addition to being an Arizona State fan, I'm also a huge basketball fan and will watch almost any NCAA, NBA, or WNBA game. Besides my favorite sport, I'm always down to catch any type of sporting event. Fun fact: I was lucky enough to catch a foul ball at an Arizona Diamondbacks game last year!
When I'm not busy with school or sports, I'm traveling, posting on social media, or having a coffee and shopping date with friends. I'm thrilled to join this amazing team and start reporting on all things Arizona State sports. Forks Up!
