A new benefit and/or talking point to the Big 12 this season was the announcement that teams will be submitting official injury reports for all conference games. While for the first three weeks we have speculated who lands on that report for the Sun Devils, this week brings us our first real standing point.

Wednesday's first report gave us 28 names that rate as probable or worse on the injury report for the Sun Devils. While Coach Dillingham has stated that there is no gamesmanship at play here with how many players are listed, there is some speculation as to how many of these players are actually at risk of not playing on Saturday.
Out
Jalen Moss was widely thought to be returning to game action this week but will remain out for Saturday dealing with an illness. Xavion Alford is expected to miss "a few weeks", which couldn't come at a worse time for the Sun Devils with the dynamic passing attacks of Baylor and TCU coming up. Adrian Wilson performed well starting at free safety last week at home against Texas State, recording 7 total tackles.
Questionable
Montana Warren was absent during practice this week, leading to a rotation of Kyndrich Breedlove, Kyan McDonald, and Keith Abney Jr. in his place both at free safety and the nickel package. Warren remains "questionable at best" at the time of this writing. Zyrus Fiaseu's addition to the injury report was a midweek addition, his status remains unclear at this time. Zac Swanson did not take 11-on-11 reps during practice, and has not appeared in a game since breaking his foot in spring practices.
Probable
Kyson Brown's return comes at an opportune time for the Sun Devils as Baylor presents a very porous rushing defense. Like Swanson, he did not take 11-on-11 reps, and I would expect Raleek Brown to take the majority of the carries on Saturday. Myles Rowser is a concerning name to see under the probable category with the secondary already needing the next man to step up, but if these injury reports are anything like what we see in the NFL, I would expect anyone listed as probable to play barring an unfortunate development leading up to kickoff.
Baylor Injuries
Running back Dawson Pendergrass will be out for the entire season for Baylor after suffering a foot injury during fall camp. Safety Carl Williams looks unlikely to play, missing the Auburn and Samford games and playing only 5 snaps against SMU due to a knee injury. Offensive lineman Coleton Price was considered day-to-day after suffering a facial contusion against Auburn but should be in the lineup for the Bears.
Both the Sun Devils and the Bears will be submitting injury updates and have up to 90 minutes before kickoff to submit their final report for the game. Arizona State and Baylor will kick off from McLane Stadium in Waco at 4:30pm Arizona time on Saturday on Fox.
