Brandon Compton continues to come through in clutch moments for Arizona State.
Compton delivered a two-RBI single in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 3-3 tie with Austin Peay and give the Sun Devils a 5-3 lead at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Neither team scored the rest of the way, as ASU improved to 4-0 to start the season.

Compton, a redshirt sophomore from Buckeye, Arizona, continued his stellar start to the season, going 1 for 3 and drawing a walk after batting .500 with two home runs and seven RBIs in ASU's season-opening sweep of Ohio State.
Right-hander Rohan Lettow made his first start on the mound for the Sun Devils, allowing five hits and three earned runs in 3 2/3 innings, while striking out two and walking two.
Austin Peay (1-3) did all its scoring in the first four innings against Lettow, a sophomore from Chandler, Arizona.
The Governors jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a lead-off home run from Cameron Nickens and added single runs in the third and fourth innings to take a 3-0 lead.
Senior right-hander Jonah Giblin earned the victory for ASU, allowing just one hit, striking out four and walking one in three innings of work.
Will Kroger, a senior right-hander, closed out the victory to earn his second save of the season. ASU used a season-low four pitchers in the victory, with Cole Carlon also getting 1 1/3 innings of work.
