Arizona State is preparing for their biggest game of the year, a home game against No. 3 Iowa State. The Sun Devils snapped a four-game losing streak with a road win over No. 23 West Virginia earlier this week, making it their first true road win (not counting neutral site games) all year.

The Cyclones are 16-2, with losses to No. 1 Auburn and the same Mountaineers that Arizona State just beat. Both losses came away from home, too, but that doesn't mean the Sun Devils will be favorites in Saturday's noon tipoff.

However, Arizona State received massive news on Friday that will certainly improve their odds of competing with Iowa State.

Joson Sanon, Arizona State's 4-star true frosh guard, has the green light to suit up in this one. He suffered an ankle injury in the Sun Devils' conference opener and has played in just one game since. Sanon, who is second on the team in points per game, leads the Sun Devils with a 47.5% three point shooting clip.

Sanon's absence has certainly been felt, as others like BJ Freeman and Jayden Quaintance have been forced to shoulder more of the offensive load. With Sanon's return, the Sun Devils should have a more balanced offense.

They'll need it, as the Cyclones feature one of the most efficient and high-scoring offenses in college basketball. Arizona State will need one of their most efficient performances on offense all year in order to keep pace with Iowa State.

Getting Sanon back in the mix at least gives them hope.
