After a longer than usual wait, No. 12 Arizona State is finally getting a chance to play some football again, and it's on the biggest stage in program history. For the first time in Sun Devil history, they'll be playing in the College Football Playoff when they take on the No. 3 Texas Longhorns in the Peach Bowl.

The Longhorns advanced to the quarterfinals to face Arizona State with a 38-24 victory over No. 16 Clemson in the first round of the playoff. Texas comes into this game with a 12-2 record, both losses coming against No. 2 Georgia.

Meanwhile, the Sun Devils are 11-2 and won the Big 12 to secure a first round bye in the playoff. Second-year head coach Kenny Dillingham has made Arizona State one of the hottest teams in the country, winners of six straight. They're 4-0 against ranked opponents this year and have not lost a game with quarterback Sam Leavitt playing since mid-September.

The winner of this game will advance to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, where Arizona State most recently played for the Big 12 championship. The stakes have never been higher for the Sun Devils, so make sure you don't miss it.
