They say it just means more in the SEC. Well, Arizona State is going to have to prove things are done a lot differently in Southwest.
The fans down in Starkville, Mississippi will be extra riled up because of ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham's comments about hotels and casinos in the town that's over two hours from the nearest major airport. Dillingham cleared the air about his out-of-context words taken so harshly by Mississippi State fans on "Wake Up Barstool" Thursday.

The team practiced all week with just about every staff member that wasn't a coach ringing multiple cowbells in players faces and pumped Mississippi State crowd noise into the bubble to try and simulate what they'll encounter on Saturday. Although, as many have noted, nothing will compare to a real SEC setting on game day.
At least this week fans won't have to deal with the major glitches of an ESPN+ stream and will (hopefully) be able to watch every down of this under-the-radar Week 2 matchup.
