Mikey Keene comes to Arizona State with a resume that is based on producing, consistency, and a solid attachment to the Valley. In his four years at college, Keene has proven to be a calm and efficient quarterback, both in performance and experience of winning championships.
A Productive College Career
After 39 career games, Keene has amassed 8245 yards of passing and 65 touchdowns with a 2212 record as a starter and an almost 68 percent completion rate. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for taking care of the football while effectively leading the offense.
Early Impact at UCF (2021–2022)
In 2021, Keene entered a starting position as a freshman with UCF and created an impression. He led the Knights to a Gasparilla Bowl win over Florida and left UCF with 2,377 passing yards and 23 touchdowns, which made him reputed to be more accurate and poised than his age.
Keene proved to be one of the most prolific passers in the Mountain West Conference at Fresno State. During his two seasons, he made 5,868 yards and 42 TDs. His best performance was in the 2023 New Mexico Bowl, where he was the Offensive MVP after passing 380 yards and scoring four TDs.
Michigan and the Move to Arizona State (2025)
Keene moved to Michigan in the 2025 season, failing to play a game and eventually joining the transfer portal. His choice to attend Arizona State takes him home with a good experience and maturity.
A senior superstar at Chandler High School, Keene was the leader of the Wolves to two consecutive state championships without a loss in both 2019 and 2020, making him one of the most successful high school quarterbacks in Arizona history.
