There were few cultural moments as momentous as the long-awaited return of EA Sports' College Football video game last summer, as evident by the fact that College Football 25 became the best selling sports title of all time.

Similarly, there were few actual college football teams that had a more exciting season than Arizona State. The Sun Devils were famously picked to finish last in the Big 12 but, instead, they won the conference and took Texas to double overtime in the Peach Bowl of the College Football Playoff.

It makes sense, then, that Arizona State would get some love in the cover of the next installment, College Football , which apparently leaked late Wednesday night.

The leaked cover features an assortment of coaches, players, and mascots lined up on bleachers. There are several notable names, including coaches Kirby Smart, James Franklin, and Lane Kiffin, and some of college football's top stars, like Nick Singleton, DJ Lagway, and Garrett Nussmeier.

However, smack dab in the center of the picture is none other than head coach Kenny Dillingham and quarterback Sam Leavitt.

It makes sense. The Sun Devils were one of the best teams in the nation, finishing the year ranked seventh in the final AP poll. Dillingham emerged as one of the best young coaches in the sport, earning an extension in the process, and generating plenty of buzz about the future of the program.

Dillingham will also see the vast majority of his roster come back next year, highlighted by Leavitt. The former Michigan State quarterback was only a freshman this year and is already building Heisman buzz for the 2025 season.

Together, Dillingham and Leavitt have the Sun Devils looking like one of the teams to beat next year and for the forseeable future. Winding up on the next cover of the biggest video game in the sports world is only right.
