As expected, the first week of football saw some players on both sides come out a little worse for the wear. Here's the up to date information on who's status is less than healthy for tomorrow's matchup at Davis Wade Stadium.

Arizona State

Questionable:

Jalen Moss
Max Iheanachor
Justin Wodtly

Jalen Moss enters this weekend battling a foot injury that saw him leave in the second quarter of the season opening win against Northern Arizona. Derek Eusebio replaced him in the slot for the remainder of the game. Jaren Hamilton should be involved in the gameplan if Moss does not play. Moss' status is still being evaluated along with Iheanachor and Wodtly.

Probable:

Ben Coleman
Chamon Metayer

Coach Dillingham stated this week that Coleman is good to go after leaving the opener early and being replaced at center by Wade Helton. Metayer was banged up but snagged one catch for 20 yards last week and appears to be good to go on Saturday.

Mississippi State:

Offensive linemen Blake Steen and Luke Work, and cornerback Jett Jefferson are all uncertain to play this week. Work and Jefferson are both potential starters on the Mississippi State depth chart and missed the Bulldogs' opener at Southern Mississippi last week. Steen started the game and left at halftime with an unspecified injury, not returning to the game. Head coach Jeff Lebby said, "I feel good about Luke, not great", echoing the same sentiments about Steen.

As for Jefferson, Lebby was a little more cautious in his statements on September 1st, saying "I'm not ready to say he'll even be ready to go tomorrow morning for us to really evaluate him. His evaluation will happen a little later in the week." All three players can be considered "questionable" with no official injury report for non-conference games.

Arizona State and Mississippi State will kick off at 4:30pm Arizona time tomorrow on ESPN2 from Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville.
