Arizona State football (7-3, 5-2 Big 12) heads up to Colorado for its final road game of the regular season. All Big 12 conference wins have been decided by five points or less this season, and this could be the first time all year that could change

1. Can Arizona State handle the cold weather?

The kickoff temperature will be 50°F and will decrease throughout the game. The Sun Devils' win at Iowa State featured similar temperatures, so they should be able to handle the weather.

2. Who will be the top targets for redshirt senior quarterback Jeff Sims?

Redshirt junior wide receiver Jordyn Tyson could come back this week. If he is in, he could be on a snap count or not at full speed, so that might lead to others like redshirt sophomore wide receiver Derek Eusebio or redshirt senior tight end Chamon Metayer getting targets.

3. Will Arizona State finish off drives with touchdowns?

Colorado ranks near the bottom in points allowed per game, allowing opponents to score an average of 30 points. The Sun Devils have struggled finishing off drives this season, and it will be interesting to see if the Sun Devils can put up touchdowns instead of field goals.

4. Will the Sun Devils stampede the Buffaloes on the ground?

Colorado has a bottom-five rush defense in the FBS. The Sun Devils have an above-average rushing attack led by redshirt junior Raleek Brown, who ranks 37th in the FBS in rushing yards per game at 82.3 yards a game.

5. Will the defense shut down the Colorado offense?

Colorado has played multiple quarterbacks so far this season, with not much success with any of them, as it ranks outside the top 100 in scoring across the FBS. The Sun Devils have allowed at least 19 points in all of their Big 12 conference games this season, and could set a season low this week.

The Sun Devils need this win to stay alive in the Big 12 title race, which is still on the table in certain scenarios.
