Kenny Dillingham and the Sun Devils wrapped up their spring practice period on Friday, and they have plenty of reasons to be feeling good about their campaign to repeat as Big 12 champions. Add to those reasons a pair of new transfers announced on Monday, as brothers Brent and Wade Helton announced their commitment to Arizona State.

Both brothers play on the offensive line, with Wade playing tackle and Brent playing guard. The brothers were both 3-star prospects out of Centennial High School in Corona, California, a school that's historically been a pipeline for Arizona State.

Wade was rated as a Top 75 tackle prospect coming out of high school, and both were Top 100 players in the talent-rich state of California. The Sun Devils had recruited both, especially Wade, but the brothers were determined to go to the same school. They ultimately chose Iowa State, ultimately ending up on the receiving end of an Arizona State beatdown in the Big 12 title game.

Now, they both arrive to Tempe with four years of eligibility, which is big for Arizona State.

The Sun Devils have a pretty good starting five in the trenches, as well as three really reliable backups, but only one of them has more than two years of eligibility left at this point. Bringing in the Helton brothers offers depth at two spots for the long run, one area that emerged as an underrated weakness in spring ball.
