TEMPE- On Tuesday, the Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball team secured another upset victory, this time against the No. 14-ranked Kansas Jayhawks, 70-60, in what may be the last home game coached by Bobby Hurley.
Deja vu to 2018 and absolute mania in Tempe as ASU gets its second top-15 upset and second court storming of the last month after defeating No. 14 Kansas 70-60 🤯

It was the second time the Sun Devils had upset a top-15 team, as they defeated the No. 10 Texas Tech Red Raiders on Feb. 17 at home. Additionally, the Kansas Jayhawks are 0-5 in Tempe, and three of their victories were led by Hurley as head coach, dating back to 2017 and 2018.
There is a big question about whether Hurley, who wore a hoodie that says 'Guard U,' should return to Tempe as head coach of the Arizona State men's basketball team in the future.
"They understand the writing on the wall," Hurley said postgame. "There's not a lot of discussion about it. I could assume they would have an idea ... Players like Moe Odum still believe there's hope. And I do as well."
"He is the greatest coach that's ever coached me," added senior guard Moe Odum, who led the Sun Devils with 23 points, four rebounds and six assists in the win. "I'm going to war with him anytime. If I had more eligibility, I wouldn't go no where. Without Hurley, there's no us."
Arizona State began the game on a positive note, taking a 20-point lead over the Jayhawks at halftime, shooting 38.5 percent from the field and becoming aggressive on offense and defense. Not to mention, it was one of the best efforts the Sun Devils have put on the court all season.
Kansas head coach Bill Self was ejected in the first half after arguing with the officials over a foul call on freshman guard Darryn Peterson, who got tangled up with Arizona State junior guard Bryce Ford.
The second half was filled with intensity and moments when the Jayhawks attempted to pull off a comeback after trailing by 20 early on.
Somehow, the Sun Devils managed to hang on to take the upset victory, thanks to big-time contributions by senior guard Anthony Johnson, who went on a 5-0 run of his own, and recorded nine points and seven rebounds against the Jayhawks.
Freshman center Massamba Diop became a dominant force in the paint for the Sun Devils, recording 19 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks while having a hot start in the first half.
It was also senior night, in which Arizona State honored the senior class before the game began: Johnson, Odum, and Allen Mukeba.
"They're all underdogs, they came from humble beginnings," Hurley said of the senior class. "They really appreciate the opportunity to play here. Moe always feels like he has something to prove. Pig had no scholarship offers. I've had guys that feel like it's ok to tap out on seasons. Allen Mukeba is the total opposite of that. He's battled through a lot of injuries (this season)."
Although it was a rough shooting night for both teams, Arizona State limited Kansas' field goal percentage to 29 percent from the field and had an advantage at the free-throw line (24-for-30).
After the final buzzer sounded, Johnson threw up the ball in the air and fans in attendance began storming the court, marking an end to a wild, emotional night in Tempe. Hurley was also seen interacting with football head coach Kenny Dillingham, who was in attendance, at the end of the game.
If this is it for Hurley, it would be a great send-off to the sunset during his 11-year tenure in Tempe.
