Big 12 Power Rankings: Arizona State continues to hover near the top

16. Houston Cougars (6-12, 0-7 Big 12)

With seven straight losses in conference play, Houston can't seem to keep up. The team has recurring issues with shooting and consistency as even their top scorerers don't regularly hot double digits. In hopes of redemption, the Cougars will play Kansas State on Wednesday and face Baylor on Sunday.

15. Arizona Wildcats (10-8, 1-6 Big 12)

Coming off three hard losses, Arizona has struggled in conference play. The team has a few standout players but faces challenges with inconsistency and fouling. The Wildcats will attempt to regroup against Iowa State on Saturday and rival Arizona State on Wednesday.

Even with a sour loss to Kansas State, Texas tech is proving itself as a conference and national competitor. The team's dominant offense and defense strength has secured them wins and proves their strength. The Lady Raiders will try to avoid another loss as they play BYU on Wednesday and Utah on Saturday.

With national powerhouses and unexpected contenders, the Big 12 is an interesting place to be for women's basketball.
