Sun Devils Competing at the World Aquatics Championships
ASU swimming is sending ten Sun Devils (former and current), to the2025 World Aquatics Championshipsin Singapore. They will compete representing their countries including the U.S., Canada, France, Peru, Israel, and Fiji.
Some notable names include Léon Marchand, fresh off an outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics, Ilya Kharun, a Canadian medalist, and Albane Cachot, a French freshman making her world debut. Even ASU head coach Herbie Behm will be there as an assistant coach for Team USA to sustain ASU's dominance in swimming around the world.
Mjaaseth Ranked No. 8 in PGA TOUR U Preseason Rankings
Senior Michael Mjaaseth of ASU men's golf hassecured a preseason spotin the top 10 of the PGA TOUR University rankings. The Norwegian star recently wrapped up an All-American season in which he helped ASU win the NCAA Championship in stroke play.
With a track record that includes numerous tournament victories, Palmer Cup success, and national recognition, Mjaaseth is ranked No. 23 in the world among amateurs.

Sun Devil Named to AFCA Good Works Team Watch List
Coben Bourguet, a redshirt senior wide receiver,has been nominatedfor the 2025 Allstate AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) Good Works Team. This honors student-athletes for their community involvement, leadership, and academic achievement.
Bourguet co-founded Bourguet Brothers Enterprises, a program for community involvement that has held local fundraisers and youth camps throughout Arizona.
The team roster is chosen by a voting group consisting of journalists, head coaches, and former Good Works Team members who evaluate exceptional leadership both on and off the field.
