Things have cooled off considerably for the Sun Devils since starting conference play.
They went undefeated in the non-conference portion of their schedule, and then won their first two Big 12 games of the season. That now marks the last time Arizona State had any sort of win streak going. Their latest - a three point loss to No. 15 Baylor - hinted that the Sun Devils still have plenty left in the tank despite recent struggles.
They have a decent shot to get on a run now, though. Tonight's game kicks off a favorable final stretch of the regular season, as three of their remaining six games look to be very winnable. It starts with a one-game home stand against Utah, whom the Sun Devils beat on the road in their second conference game of the year.
The Utes come into this one at 16-8 with a 7-5 Big 12 record. Interestingly, they've been road warriors all season long, with an 8-1 record away from home. Yet the Sun Devils are 13-1 at home, giving them a strong chance of winning this rematch and sweeping Utah.
