After taking down the No. 2 seed UC Irvine in a gutsy 4-2 win on Friday night, Arizona State is riding high into Saturday's matchup against UCLA in the Los Angeles Regional.

The Sun Devils took an early lead after Jacob Tobias and Isaiah Jackson both hit home runs in the second inning to put them up 2-0. That was short lived ad the Anteaters tied it up going into the third inning.

From there, there wasn't much action from either offense until Tobias had his second hit of the night and Kien Vu followed with a double in the fourth inning. Jacobs and Carlon sealed the deal on the mound, while Tobias and Jackson provided late insurance to win the game.

Now, under postseason pressure, ASU will face UCLA, a familiar opponent. The Bruins are coming off of a dominant 19-4 win over Fresno State to open regional play. Although UCLA has momentum and home-field advantage, the Sun Devils are accustomed to matching that intensity. Not to mention, Arizona State leads the all-time series 37-31, giving them a minor historical advantage in the rivalry.

With postseason stakes, it is safe to expect fireworks in the Westwood.
