Things are starting off very well for the Sun Devils.

They're 5-0 so far with all but one of their games being won by 5+ runs. The offense has been just as we all expected, but the pitching has largely looked improved too, which seemed to be the biggest question mark around this team coming into the year.

Friday night's series opening game against St. John's was perhaps their most complete game so far. Starter Cole Carlon was dealing, and the offense got the long ball working in spades with a dominant 9-1 victory.

Colin Linder takes the mound this afternoon, looking to deliver another series victory. St. John's has proven to be a bit tougher than last week's series opponent, Omaha, but the Sun Devils should still be able to get the win today.
