For the second week in a row, a Sun Devil squad won their first game of the Big 12 Tournament and advanced to a rematch with Iowa State.
Last week, it was the women's basketball team that ultimately upset the Cyclones and took a huge step towards making the NCAA Tournament. This week, it's a men's team that needs quite a bit more help to go dancing, though beating the No. 7 Cyclones would help.
These two teams faced off just four days ago in Ames, and Arizona State was obliterated. Iowa State won 86-65, completely running away with it in the second half after some close play. The Cyclones are a drastically better team, but the Sun Devils showed some grit in their first round win over Baylor despite being underdogs.
Can they keep it going?
