The Sun Devils bounced back from the opening loss in dominant fashion, beating Houston 13-3 to even the series.

Before ASU's offense took control, Houston held the lead for a short while after scoring in each of the first three innings. They were held scoreless for the remainder of the game by the Sun Devil bullpen.

Arizona State's offense really ignited in game 2, slugging three home runs and putting up a pair of five-run innings. Kyler Walker led this offensive domination with three hits, including a home-run. That on top of help from all across the lineup, the Sun Devils were able to change the script following their game 1 loss.
