It's crunch time for Arizona State football. There are just two games remaining in the regular season and the Sun Devils are still alive in their hunt to defend their 2024 Big 12 title.
The next hurdle the team has to clear is a road test against a Colorado team that has thrived at home against the Devils in recent memory. However, the Buffaloes - led by head coach Deion Sanders - is a mere 3-7 this season and severely lacking in offensive output. On paper, ASU should return home with an easy win.
But fans in Tempe know all too well this program never makes anything easy. Last week's 25-23 victory over West Virginia, another Big 12 basement dweller, was earned with anything but ease.
Colorado has won two of the last three contests against ASU at home but lost the most recent of such matchups 42-34 in 2022. This will be the first time the two programs have played one another since 2023 when both were members of the Pac-12.
