TEMPE- After getting back on track with a win over the UCF Knights at home on Wednesday, the Arizona State Sun Devils (16-1, 3-1 Big 12) face another major test this Sunday.

They will travel to take on Olivia Miles and the No. 13 TCU Horned Frogs—marking their first and only road meeting against TCU this season.

On Saturday, Jan. 3, the Sun Devils and Horned Frogs lost their first games of the season on the road to the BYU Cougars and Utah Utes, respectively.

"It's a twofer, because it's a challenge and an opportunity, and we'll be ready," Arizona State head coach Molly Miller said Wednesday. "We'll be ready for that opportunity and the challenge. And we've learned. [McKinna] Brackens said it best, we've learned a lot about each other through the course of the year already, and what I've learned about this team is they're going to be focused.

"They're going to lock into a game plan. We're going to go in there [as] we can win, and believe that we can win, and we're going to do the things we need to do to win, and we'll be ready. We'll be prepped. Our assistants have always done great scouting up until this point. So that won't change, and it's going to be an exciting challenge and opportunity for our team."

Miller stated how she and the Sun Devils viewed Sunday's game as an opportunity to compete with the best in Big 12 Conference play.

Throughout the course of the season, Arizona State has learned a great deal about the types of play styles players bring to Miller's first season as head coach for the team.

The team only has three returning players from last season's team— Jyah LoVett, Makayla Moore, and Timya Grice— and underwent changes in the coaching system and player movement this past summer.

"We've learned a lot about each other and learn how each other played because we were a whole new team," forward McKinna Brackens said. "We're learning each other's strengths and weaknesses, learning how each other plays, and trying to put each other in the situation to be successful."

No matter the outcome, the Sun Devils has a lot to learn leading up to the Big 12 Conference tournament in Kansas City, which will take place in March.
