The votes are in for another week, and we are pleased to report that Arizona State baseball (28-13, 11-7 Big 12) is still hanging on in the Top 25 poll according to D1Baseball.com, checking in at No. 25 in this week's rankings.

An extra innings loss in the Territorial Cup finale followed by a mercy rule loss at BYU threatened to knock the Sun Devils out of the rankings entirely, but the offense came to save the day and salvage a .500 week with 13-0 (7 innings) and 12-8 wins to clinch the conference series win in Provo.

Baseball America is a little more favorable to the Sun Devils with a No. 23 ranking, while Perfect Game is even more favorable with a No. 21 ranking.

Around the Big 12, West Virginia (27-9, 12-6) is the class of the conference at No. 12 with Kansas (29-11, 14-4) nipping at their heels in the eyes of the voters. UCF has fallen off their torrid pace from the start of the season, dropping back-to-back conference series and going 1-6 since pulling off a series win in Morgantown.

An area of concern for the Sun Devils when it comes to tournament time is the RPI. Currently No. 38, Baseball America has Arizona State projected as a No. 3 seed in the Athens GA regional in their latest bracketology, in a field with Boston College, Bucknell, and host school Georgia.

The Sun Devils currently sit tied in the conference standings with the aforementioned UCF, and would have a first round bye if the Big 12 baseball tournament started today. A light schedule for the week ahead as Arizona State will host New Mexico State on Wednesday before welcoming Baylor to Phoenix Municipal Stadium for a three game weekend series. All games this week will be streaming on ESPN+.
