The Sun Devils won the week last week, starting play with wins at UNLV and at home against New Mexico State and West Virginia, but dropped the final two games in a battle of the only two ranked teams in the Big 12 to finish the week 3-2.
Despite the slide at the end of the weekend, Arizona State still starts this week in the Top 25, clinging to the No. 25 spot with a 20-8 overall record (5-4 Big 12).

UCF has joined the Sun Devils and the Mountaineers in the rankings from the Big 12, checking in at No. 23 in the D1Baseball.com poll after surging to an 8-1 record in conference play (18-8 overall). Arizona State and Cincinnati are the only 20-win teams in the conference to this point, jockeying for position in the conference standings that see 3rd and 12th place separated by 3 games through 3 weeks of conference play.
Arizona State will host San Diego State at 6:30pm on Monday night (ESPN+) in a non-conference tilt before traveling south for an Easter weekend series against Arizona. Thursday and Friday night's games will air on ESPN+ (subscription required), with Saturday's series finale airing on ESPN2.
