Just over 11 years ago, Arizona State made the switch to the three stripe life. Their decision to go from Nike to Adidas was initially met with skepticism, but the results have spoken for themselves.
Now, the Sun Devils are re-upping. Per reports, they've added five more years onto their partnership deal with Adidas for all things sports apparel. That means Adidas will continue to provide all uniforms and shoes, along with various merchandise, for Sun Devil athletics.
This isn't necessarily a surprise. The partnership with Adidas has been quite lucrative for both sides - they helped facilitate NIL contracts for both Sam Leavitt and Jordyn Tyson - and fans have greatly enjoyed the uniform designs that Adidas has helped provide, especially on the football field.
The extension comes at the same time as the unveiling of a specialty James Harden jersey for the basketball programs, which Marley Washenitz recently plugged. Reportedly, players who wear these specialty jerseys are doing so as part of an NIL deal with Adidas.

It's also worth noting that current athletics director Graham Rossini was the Sun Devils' main point of contact for Adidas during his time as Senior Associate Athletics Director. It makes sense that Rossini would continue to foster what's been such a strong partnership for Arizona State.
