Wednesday night's initial injury report listed a mile of names, but one name in the "probable" category offered Sun Devil fans some point of optimism.

That's right, Sam Leavitt has been listed as probable this week and has been taking first team reps in practice this week. However with the boost of Leavitt back to practice, that doesn't come without hits elsewhere.

Saturday's loss at Utah was felt more than just on the scoreboard as Ben Coleman suffered a career-ending arm injury. The loss of the 7th-year offensive lineman represents more than a great performer on the field but an incredible leader in the locker room. Freshman Wade Helton is listed as probable and was not 100% during this week's practices, but looks to step in to the void left by Coleman.

Linebacker Zyrus Fiaseu will also be out for the remainder of the season and will medically redshirt after missing two games with a lower body injury and undergoing surgery.

Running back Kyson Brown will be out this week and likely through the second bye week of the season after aggravating the ankle injury he sustained at Mississippi State on September 13th. Raleek Brown will be the de facto starter with Kanye Udoh listed as probable this week due to an illness.

Xavion Alford's injury continues to stretch on with Coach Dillingham offering no timetable on his return to the field.

For Texas Tech, quarterback Behren Morton began the week as questionable to play and is now trending towards a game time decision.

The Sun Devils and Red Raiders will kick off from Mountain America Stadium tomorrow at 1pm on FOX.
