Just a day after a late-game collapse, losing on a walk-off bunt in extra innings, Arizona State has one game left to go before they can return home.

The Sun Devils just completed their weekend series against Cincinnati, and now move next door to take on Purdue for a matinee game against the Big Ten squad.

The Boilermakers come into today's game with a 22-13 record, though they've struggled since beginning conference play, with a meager 5-10 record in the Big Ten that has them third from the bottom in the standings.

Prior to this weekend, Purdue had lost eight straight games, including two series sweeps and losses to Northern Illinois and Indiana State. They took the first two games of this weekend's series against Rutgers, earning their first series win since the first week of March.

Meanwhile, Arizona State is in need of a get-right game. They've dropped their last two series, and are in serious danger of falling too far behind in the wide open Big 12 race. They were one out away from winning Sunday's rubber match against Cincinnati, but their bullpen couldn't close it out, a troubling theme of the Willie Bloomquist era.

The schedule is much more manageable from here on out, though, and the Sun Devils could get hot and go on a run. But it all starts today against the Boilermakers.
