After falling short in game 1, Arizona State was able to pull off a 4-1 victory over Baylor to even the series. The Bears took their only lead of the game in the bottom of the third inning 1-0. After that, the Sun Devils responded by going up 2-1 and never looking back.

While ASU did just enough offensively, their success truly came from on the mound. Starting
pitcher Jack Martinez held Baylor to just one run, then Jaden Alba finished the job exceptionally,
striking out five with one walk and one hit.
