Oregon State and Arizona State will face-off in a Pac 12 battle on Thursday night.

Arizona State is looking to climb up the leaderboard and join the top dogs, while Oregon State is just doing its best to climb out of the basement of the conference.

The two teams have faced off once already this season, which resulted in a 74-69 win in favor of the Sun Devils? Can they pull off the win again?

From a betting perspective, I think there’s more value on the total. Let’s dive into it.

If you want to bet on an UNDER, what you’re hoping for is two teams that are much better defensively than offensively. That’s what we have in this game.

Arizona State ranks 227th in offensive efficiency but 32nd in defensive efficiency. Oregon State comes in at 318th in offensive efficiency and 162nd in defensive efficiency.

The Beavers also play one of the slowest paces in the country, coming in at 338th in possessions per game and 359th in field goal attempts per game. That slow pace of play should have a heavy influence on the total.

While Arizona State is rightfully favored, and should no doubt win the game, I see enough from Oregon State to not want to lay the points on the Sun Devils spread. So, with that in mind, I’ll back the UNDER.
