4. Colorado Buffaloes (19-11, 10-8 Pac-12) LW: 5

After a rough start to Pac-12 play, Colorado seems to have found its stride at the right time.

The Buffaloes closed the season as winners of eight of their 10 games, which helped them finish the season with a record of 19-11 (10-8 Pac-12) and secure the fifth seed in Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Tournament.

One thing that makes this team unique is that they do not rely on one player to contribute a majority of the scoring. This, however, can be a blessing and a curse.

It could make the Buffaloes dangerous in a tournament because opposing teams can’t just focus on stopping one player; they have multiple to worry about.

In contrast, CU is without an elite scorer that they can rely on to get a bucket when they need it.

The one to that is sophomore Tyler Bey, who leads the team in scoring with 13.4 points per game on 56 percent shooting. As well as his scoring output, Bey is responsible for 9.6 rebounds per game, which also leads the team.

Colorado will be back in action on Wednesday when they matchup with the 12th-seeded California Golden Bears in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.

While Colorado is far from the most talented team in the conference, they should not be taken lightly by anyone. Any team who closes a season as strong as the Buffaloes have carries potential to do some major damage come the postseason.
