1. Washington Huskies (20-5, 11-1 Pac-12) LW: 1

All is well in the Emerald City. The Huskies are cruising through conference play, maintaining the league’s best record at 20-5 overall, with an evermore impressive 11-1 in conference count.

The Huskies got back in the win column following their loss to Arizona State after fighting a fierce rivalry battle against Washington State in Pullman. Noah Dickerson tipped in a missed Jaylen Nowell layup with 25 seconds, sealing the deal on Saturday’s game.

Aside from Dickerson and Nowell, David Crisp and Matisse Thybulle also present problems for opponents across the nation with their athleticism and tenacity on the defensive end.

With a 20-win season secured and a high probability at landing the No. 1 seed in the Pac-12, the Huskies are rearing up for their moment in the March Madness spotlight. Right now, UW is slotted as a No. 8 seed according to bracketmatrix.com.

So for now, it’s all about preparation for the postseason in the land of purple and gold. Working out the kinks and finding a way to take their game to the next level, coach Mike Hopkins has to find a way to get his team over the hump come March.
