6. Arizona Wildcats (14-10, 5-6 Pac-12) LW: 6

Arizona’s struggles continued this past week, losing its fourth and fifth straight in-conference games to Washington State and Washington at the McKale Center.

Right now, the Wildcats have zero answers to any equation being thrown at them. For the first time since the 2008-2009 season, Sean Miller’s squad is in serious danger of finishing below .500 in conference play.

UA fell to Washington 67-60 on Thursday and were run off the floor by Washington State two nights later. The Cougars have made a bit of a late-season push, further complicating the crowded 2-10 seed positions inside the Pac-12. Beating UA 69-55, they put the team in Tucson on notice.

For this week’s slate, the Wildcats will face the Mountain schools in Utah and Colorado. Both games will be aired on ESPNU.

It’s now or never for this year’s Arizona squad, as both time and vision of postseason play is running out for the 2018-19 season in Tucson.
