1. Washington Huskies (19-5, 10-1 Pac-12) LW: 1

Despite picking up their first loss of the conference season, it is still clear the Huskies are the top ‘dawgs’ in the Pac-12.

In its 67-60 win over Arizona, the Huskies were led by senior guard David Crisp and senior guard Matisse Thybulle. Crisp led the team in scoring with 17 points as well as his three rebounds, three assists and one steal.

As for Thybulle, he was second on the team in scoring with 15 points including going 3-for-4 from behind the arc. As well as scoring, he was all over the place on the defensive end, finishing the night with five blocks and five steals.

Despite falling to the Sun Devils 75-63, Crisp had himself another big game as he led the team in scoring with 17 again. However, the main storyline for the Huskies was the play of senior forward Noah Dickerson off the bench.

Heading into the weekend Dickerson, was questionable to play due to a lingering ankle injury. It seems that injury didn’t hold him back as he was able to put up ten points on the Wildcats before going off for a team-high 18 points and eight boards off the bench in Tempe.

Washington will get the chance to get things back on track against rival Washington State in front of a national audience on ESPNU this Saturday.

With Dickerson healthy once again and one of the strongest zone defenses in the country, the Huskies are still an easy choice for the top spot in this week’s rankings.
