2. Arizona State Sun Devils (16-7, 7-4 Pac-12) LW: 2

Once again, Arizona State has given us a glimpse of how one of the most confusing teams in the entire country continues to operate. This past week of Pac-12 play led to more questions than answers, and even a bit of hope, in Sun Devil nation.

After their embarrassing and potentially season-staining 21 point loss at home to Washington State, the Devils darted back into relevance with a 13-point victory over the then-10-0 Washington Huskies.

The win was a classic grint-and-grind game where the Devils shot 62 percent from the field and scored over 40 points in the paint.

Behind a stellar 17 point, eight-rebound performance from redshirt sophomore Romello White, and a near triple double from Zylan Cheatham, ASU re-established itself as the clear No. 2 in the conference.

Four other Sun Devils scored in double figures in the Washington victory. ASU will now look forward to the impending return of sharpshooter Taeshon Cherry. Cherry is one of the most important pieces for coach Bobby Hurley due to his floor spacing and hustle plays all over the court.

ASU is back in the Pac-12 race and holding on to its NCAA Tournament bubble for dear life. With seven games remaining – five of which are on the road – ASU must close strong or win the Pac-12 Tournament to start dancing.

Up next for the Sun Devils is a trek into the mountains, where they take on Colorado tonight and Utah this Saturday.
