6. UCLA Bruins (11-9, 4-3 Pac-12) LW: T-7

Similar to their previous five Pac-12 games, this past weekend proved that UCLA is a team still looking to find their identity on the court.

We got a look at two completely different Bruin teams, as the first went ice cold in the second half of an 84-73 loss to Arizona State while the second provided a much different story, as the Bruins downed Arizona 90-69.

Despite two different results, sophomore guard Kris Wilkes had himself two great outings.

In the Bruins loss to Arizona State, Wilkes led the team with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Wilkes then posted a career-high in points just a few days later with 34 on 12-of-16 shooting and 5-of-7 from deep in the win over the Wildcats.

The other half of the strong sophomore guard duo, Jaylen Hands, was another bright spot this past weekend for UCLA. Against Arizona, Hands was second in points with 12, but he didn’t stop there. Before the night was over Hands, dished out a total of 11 assists.

The Bruins will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to Pullman to take on the Washington State Cougars before they matchup with the Washington Huskies on Saturday.

You can bet on Wilkes continuing to perform at a high level, but if the Bruins want to make any noise in the Pac-12, they are going to need the team that showed up against Arizona.
