1. Washington Huskies (16-4, 7-0 Pac-12) LW: 1

As we head closer to the halfway point of conference play, the Huskies sit with a firm hold on the top spot in the Pac-12.

After sprouting off seven straight conference victories, with five out of the seven coming by double digits, the Huskies look like a prime contender come the Pac-12 tournament.

Washington has been led on their current nine-game winning streak behind sophomore Jaylen Nowell, who has averaged 17 points per game on the season.

Nowell recently won his third Pac-12 Player of the Week honor after averaging 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and two  assists during a weekend sweep of the Oregon schools.

Nowell’s offense and a stellar defensive attack has led the Huskies to the No. 1 spot so far this season. Washington currently averages 8.3 steals per game while also averaging an impressive 6.3 blocks per game.

Leading the way in both these categories is guard Matisse Thybulle. The senior currently has 43 blocks and 57 steals during his senior campaign and has been a key center to the Huskies’ dominance on the defensive side of the ball.
