After a controversial finish to ASU football’s loss at Autzen Stadium, many fans are left wondering – what more is there to play for?

With the loss, ASU fell out of the Pac-12 South race, one in which they once controlled their own destiny.

While a sense of disappoint looms following a missed opportunity, all hope is not lost.

The final game of the Pac-12 season provides a matchup that has been circled on the calendar all year – November 24th – featuring the 91st installment of the Territorial Cup.

The rivalry will begin a new chapter as both programs, Arizona State and Arizona, will feature first-year head coaches Herm Edwards and Kevin Sumlin.

Both coaches will look to put themselves on the right side of history as ASU enters with a record of 6-5 while UA looks to gain bowl eligibility as they sit at a record of 5-6.

While Edwards and Sumlin prep their team’s for Saturday’s bout, we take a look back at matchups from previous coaches for both teams, as both ASU’s Todd Graham and U of A’s Rich Rodriguez squared off in their first Territorial Cup six years ago.
