4. No. 17 UCLA Bruins

After a 2-0 start to the Continental Tire Invitational and a 4-0 start to the season, the UCLA Bruins will face their toughest test to date in No. 11 Michigan State in their next matchup.

The Bruins offense has been electric to begin the season, averaging 90 points in the team’s first three games and will be looking to do so against a top-ranked Spartan team.

Kris Wilkes has been the go-to scorer early in the season, as the sophomore guard has averaged nearly 18 points per game including two games over 20 points.

The sophomore is joined by freshman Moses Brown who has done the majority of the damage both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball for the Bruins.

Brown will look to replicate his early offensive success against MSU as the center is averaging a double-double with just a tick over 17 points per game while pulling in 12 rebounds a game.

While the 7-foot-1 inch freshman has done damage on the offensive end, his defensive paint presence has paid early dividends for the team, as he currently has 13 blocks with eight coming in a win against Saint Francis.

UCLA will have their hands full as they take on a Michigan State team looking to avenge an opening day 92-87 loss to then-No. 1 ranked Kansas.
