ASU football plays their final home game of the season Saturday as they host UCLA with the Sun Devils looking to send the seniors off with a win.

It’ll be an emotional scene Saturday afternoon at Sun Devil Stadium as Arizona State hosts UCLA on Senior Day.

The Sun Devils are coming off an emphatic 38-20 win over the then-15th ranked Utah Utes, who entered the game on a four-game winning streak.

With the victory, Arizona State now controls their destiny in the Pac-12 South.

ASU got off to a quick 14-0 lead thanks to short-yardage touchdowns from running back Eno Benjamin and wide receiver N’Keal Harry.

Utah then scored the next 17 points before N’Keal Harry hauled in his second touchdown of the game with 1:01 remaining in the first half.

In the second half, it was all Sun Devils thanks to a dominant performance from the defense, who held Utah to just three points in the second half.

Harry and Benjamin would tack on one more touchdown each to cap off a massive day for the three biggest stars.

More from Devils in Detail

Quarterback Manny Wilkins finished with 309 total yards to go with three touchdowns, Harry caught nine passes for 161 yards and three touchdowns and Benjamin rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

Even wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk had a 100-yard game on six catches recording his best game as a Sun Devil.

The defense, which struggled to stop Utah’s running game, held the Utes in check in the second half as they recorded three interceptions.

Arizona State’s defense also recorded three sacks in the win.

Next up for the Sun Devils is the UCLA Bruins.

The Bruins were officially eliminated from bowl contention after dropping a game at Oregon 42-21 last Saturday.

UCLA wasn’t able to come back into the game after falling in a quick 21-0 deficit.

Quarterback Wilton Speight got the start for UCLA completing 13-of-25 passes for 147 yards and one touchdown.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson also received his fair share of snaps completing 9-of-23 passes for 135 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

It’s unclear who head coach Chip Kelly will start Saturday against the Sun Devils, but I bet Arizona State’s defense is chomping at the bit to face either quarterback.

A bright spot for UCLA has been junior running back Joshua Kelly who’s had a monster season for the Bruins.

After rushing for 161 yards and one touchdown last week against Oregon, Kelly sits sixth in the Pac-12 with 820 rushing yards and fifth in rushing yards per game (102.5).

Look for the Bruins to pound the rock early and often since it’s still a lingering issue for Arizona State’s defense.

The Sun Devils are the favorites in this game and should win this game, keeping control of their destiny in the Pac-12 South before ending the season with a two-game road trip against Oregon and Arizona.
