11.  UTSA

Though Texas is a state known for its Big 12 and SEC programs, UTSA has built a decent program in Conference USA. The Roadrunners made their first bowl game (New Mexico Bowl) in school history in 2016, finishing 6-7 with close losses to Arizona State and Texas A&M.

Last year, UTSA won six games again, defeating Baylor for the first power-five win in school history. However, the Roadrunners did not make a bowl game due to a surplus of bowl-eligible teams.

For a group of five team, UTSA has a solid defense that will be fired up to try and spoil Herm Edwards’ debut. ASU shouldn’t take them lightly in the season opener, or things could get interesting.

Will ASU win: Yes.
