ASU football‘s wide receiving depth chart is headlined by All-Pac-12 player N’Keal Harry who will look to solidify himself as an NFL Draft first-round pick.

Similar to the running back depth chart, Arizona State features a talented and deep positional group at wide receiver.

N’Keal Harry will look to build off his first two seasons with the Sun Devils as he’s an early candidate to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft as a potential first round pick.

After posting 58 receptions, 659 yards and five touchdowns his freshman year, Harry increased those numbers to 82 catches, 1,142 and eight touchdowns last season finishing as the Pac-12’s leader in receiving yards per game.

Harry really improved last season getting more involved in the passing game running numerous routes making catches at a high level as quarterback Manny Wilkins‘ safety net.

Behind Harry is an experienced group as five of the team’s six leading receivers are back for Arizona State.

Wide receiver Kyle Williams was second on the team in catches (66), receiving yards (763) and touchdowns (seven).

Frank Darby, John Humphrey and Ryan Newsome will look to contribute more this season as each played 10 games combining for 29 receptions, 507 yards and three touchdowns.

The trio should get more playing time this season with Jalen Harvey, the team’s third leading receiver last season, moving to safety in his redshirt senior season.

Rounding out the group of wide receivers is Ryan Jenkins, Terrell Chatman, Curtis Hodges, Geordon Porter and Daniel Sanders-Effiong. Out of this group, Jenkins and Chatman were the only ones to record any type of statistics.

It’s going to be difficult for that group of wide receivers to get playing time with ASU having their top five receivers locked in stone. If any injuries occur, Jenkins would be the leader to move into a more meaningful role.

Last season, Wilkins finished fifth in the Pac-12 in passing yards per game and ASU finished sixth in passing offense.

With the top three passers in the Pac-12 off to the NFL in Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold and Luke Falk, Wilkins should finish as one of the passing leaders and lead a prolific offense.
