7. Utah Utes

Arguably one of Arizona State’s most impressive wins last season came against Utah in Salt Lake City as the Sun Devils dominated their way to a 30-10 win.

The defense played one of their best games recording four interceptions and two sacks with linebacker Jay Jay Wilson returning a pick 20 yards for a touchdown.

Tyler Huntley started the game for the Utes throwing the four INTs and 155 yards while running back Zack Moss was limited to 12 carries and 52 yards rushing.

Huntley and Moss will anchor Utah’s offense this upcoming season.

Arizona State will host Utah Nov. 3 in between games against the L.A. schools and the Sun Devils will probably be a slight favorite in this game.

The Sun Devils have had success in Salt Lake City against the Utes but haven’t been able to match the success in Tempe.

Utah always provides a tough challenge as they have a stingy defense under head coach Kyle Whittingham.

The Utes were the only Pac-12 school to win a bowl game last season winning the Heart of Dallas Bowl 30-14 against West Virginia.

While ASU has lost key pieces in the pass rush, with the season in the home stretch, they should be able to win this game as long as the defense can be disruptive.
