10. Washington Huskies

Despite having the No.1 overall NBA Draft pick in Markelle Fultz on last year’s squad, the Huskies failed to amount any significant success, going 9-22 on the year and finishing 11th in the conference standings.

After the season, Lorenzo Romar was fired and former Syracuse assistant Mike Hopkins was hired as the team’s head coach.

Five-star prospect Michael Porter Jr. flipped his commitment after his father was hired as an assistant coach at Missouri and the outlook of the Huskies season has since been in disarray.

Nonetheless, Washington brings in three local stars in Jaylen Nowell, Michael Carter III, and Nate Pryor complemented by returning starters in Noah Dickerson and David Crisp; a core they hope can revitalize the program after the tremendous recruiting Romar conducted during his tenure.

Expect the Huskies to struggle again like last year, with much hope going towards Hopkins building his own program in the coming years.
