12. Washington State Cougars

Unless Klay Thompson reappears in a Cougar uniform this season, it’ll be hard to put together a competitive season.

Head coach Ernie Kent lost four starters to graduation including double-double machine Josh Hawkinson. Sophomore Malachi Flynn is the lone starter back from a season ago.

The Cougars grabbed some promising transfers in Davante Cooper, Kwinton Hinson and Drick Bernstine, however, Kent and his coaching staff squad failed to make up ground through recruiting, reeling in one four-star recruit in Roberto Gittens.

With as many stars as there are at the top of the mountain, the Cougs don’t possess many bright lights that they can rely on for the future of their program and it’s definitely going to show this season.
