4. Oregon Ducks
Of all the teams in the conference, the school with the most turnover is the Oregon Ducks.
After an improbable run to the Final Four, head coach Dana Altman lost the brunt of a unit that held at least a share of the Pac-12 title over the past two seasons, including reigning Pac-12 Player of the Year Dillon Brooks, sharpshooter Tyler Dorsey and defensive anchor Jordan Bell.
Despite the losses, Altman brings in a talented recruiting class headlined by five-star guard Troy Brown Jr. Brown provides an excellent shooting stroke and also a tremendous ball-handling ability for the Ducks after playing point guard in high school.
In addition to Brown, Altman adds a high-volume scorer in New Mexico transfer Elijah Brown and has floor general Payton Pritchard back for his sophomore year. Brown was the No. 2 scorer in the Mountain West for both of his seasons in Albuquerque.
The youth definitely exists for the Ducks to have an exciting and athletic lineup this year. But it may take a year to adjust. Regardless, Altman will have his guys ready for opening night, and they pose a threat to teams at the top of the conference.
