After securing an emotional Senior Day win versus Washington Sunday, ASU soccer travels south for a Territorial Cup clash with Arizona in the season finale.

ASU soccer wraps up their first season under head coach Graham Winkworth Thursday as the Sun Devils travel to Tucson to face Arizona in a Territorial Cup match.

The Sun Devils are coming off one of their most complete performances with a 1-0 win over Washington Sunday on Senior Day.

Midfielder Christina Edwards fired a shot from outside the 18-yard box into the upper right corner for the match’s only goal as ASU picked up their second Pac-12 win of the season.

Goalkeeper Nikki Panas was out with an illness, so seniors Ashley March and Megan Delaney combined for the clean sheet making a combined two saves as the Huskies fired 10 shots, with only two of those on goal.

Panas is questionable for Thursday’s match.

The opponent for this rivalry match are the Arizona Wildcats, who are looking to solidify a spot into the NCAA Tournament.

Arizona is unbeaten in their last six matches, including winning both games last weekend versus Washington and Washington State.

The Wildcats came back from an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Washington 2-1 as midfielder Kelcey Cavarra scored an equalizer after heading in a corner kick with forward Charlotte Brascia scoring the winning goal on a volley in the 83rd minute to take all three points.

It was a defensive battle Sunday versus Washington State as Arizona won 1-0 on a goal from midfielder Gabi Stoian in the seventh minute.

The Wildcats enter the match just on the outside looking in to the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, and a win would likely put them into the final rankings before the NCAA Tournament.
