ASU soccer is hoping to put an end to a six-match winless streak Sunday versus the Utah Utes.
Arizona State is coming off a 3-0 loss at Colorado in which the Buffaloes scored three goals in a span of 26 minutes in the first half to seal the win.
Colorado’s leading goal scorer Marty Puketapu tallied a brace with goals in the fifth and 31st minute to increase her season total to seven goals.
Midfielder Megan Massey scored her second goal of the season in the 26th minute in route to the Buffaloes’ second Pac-12 win of the season.
Goalkeeper Nikki Panas returned in goal Thursday after missing the last three matches with an injury she sustained October 5 versus UCLA.

Panas made seven saves as both teams fired 18 shots with Colorado finishing with 10 shots on goal compared to ASU’s six.
The Sun Devils now head to Salt Lake City to face the struggling Utah Utes.
Utah, who were once ranked in the top-25 this season, have yet to pick up a win in conference play as they stand at the bottom of the Pac-12 with an 0-6-1 record.
The Utes are coming off a 3-2 loss versus Arizona as they couldn’t overcome an early 3-0 deficit.
Utah is led by one of the best forwards in the nation in junior Haley Skolmoski as her eight goals scored this season leads the team and ranks fourth in the Pac-12.
Besides Skolmoski, it’s been a struggle for Utah to score goals as they went the first five matches in Pac-12 play without a goal before scoring three goals in the last two matches.
Utah and Arizona State are similar when it comes to struggling to score goals in Pac-12 play as Arizona State ranks ninth with four goals and Utah tied for last with three goals.
